Rand
& Associates
Welcome
Our mission at Rand & Associates is
to provide comprehensive wealth management to individuals,
families, and organizations by helping them to achieve their
goals through higher returns, less risk, and lower expenses,
while focusing on their unique needs. Rand & Associates
is a division of Howe Barnes Capital Management, Inc., a
subsidiary of Howe Barnes Hoefer & Arnett, Inc.
We believe in a personal relationship with
our clients that is based on trust and accountability. Our
primary aim is to help clients establish a cohesive and
comprehensive strategy for success in which we clearly define
and implement the necessary steps to help achieve their
goals. To accomplish this, Rand & Associates promotes
a professional environment where the highest standards of
integrity, objectivity, and responsibility thrive. Our clients'
trust is earned and preserved through our financial performance
and superior client service.
Investment Strategy
Rand & Associates specializes in establishing
cohesive and comprehensive investment strategies to meet
unique client-driven goals. Our Customized Portfolio Process
begins with a thorough analysis of the holdings in our client's
existing portfolio and an in-depth discussion of their short
and long term goals. Our ETF (Exchange Traded Funds) Global
Allocation Portfolios seek opportunities in small, medium,
& large companies from around the world. Once an investment
dialogue is established, a formal investment policy statement
is developed that reflects the appropriate asset allocation
to maximize return and minimize risk, as well as account
for the client's cash and income needs. Investment selections
are the result of a systematic and disciplined process that
has been honed over many years. Simply put, we look to become
owners of great companies when they are "on sale".
We are long term owners, so our portfolios tend to have
low turnover and are very tax efficient. Rand & Associates
utilizes rigorous proprietary research, as well as Wall
Street and independent sources for fundamental and quantitative
data in identifying opportunities from around the world.
Exposure to risk is minimized through daily monitoring,
correlation analysis, and when appropriate, hedging mechanisms.
All of our portfolios have provided clients with consistently
competitive performance.
