Like many women I was forced into taking ownership of my family’s financial future. At 35 I was married with one child and pregnant with twins; life was good. At 36 I was widowed and a single mother of 3 children. My world would never be the same. Since my commitment to my family’s financial security was mandatory, that led me to launch a 20+ year career in the Financial Services Industry.
I have two Masters Degrees; one in vocational counseling and one in administration. My professional background includes Assistant Vice President at Merrill Lynch, Senior Vice President at Mesirow Financial, Vice President at Smith Barney and most recently I am leading the Women Wealth Builders initiative at Howe Barnes Hoefer & Arnett. Also, I am a wealth coach trained by Barbara Stanny, a leading authority on Women & Finances and author of several successful books.
